About Us

Set up in 2000 Lackington Joinery is a small family run joinery based in Piddletrenthide Dorset.

Steve began his apprenticeship when he was just 16 and trained in all aspects of carpentry and joinery. He attended college on a day release basis with the rest of his working week being filled with gaining experience in a local joinery workshop and out on site.

Lackington Joinery was born when Steve decided he'd like the freedom to work on joinery projects which he had a personal interest in particularly steam engines and vintage living vans.

Steve’s high standard of work and keen eye for detail make him the perfect choice for specialist projects and he has a vast range of experience from simple windows and doors to bespoke conservatories and custom built living vans. Although the workshop is only small it is fully equipped with industrial woodworking machines meaning no job is too large or complicated for Lackington Joinery.
